Multi-provider architecture
·
Announced January 28, 2026, from San Francisco. Crescendo launched a multi-provider AI architecture that routes every AI request across multiple large language model providers in parallel and automatically selects the fastest valid response in real time. The company reported 100 percent uptime across early enterprise deployments and go-live within four weeks. The stated purpose is to remove single-vendor dependency so that service continues through latency, rate limiting, or outages at any one third-party provider; Crescendo has said it maintained full availability through partial outages of the LLM services its platform depends on by failing over to backup connections. The release framed reliability and compliance under real-world workloads as the constraint enterprises hit when scaling generative AI in contact centers, and positioned deployment in weeks rather than quarters as the competitive claim. Matt Price, co-founder and chief executive at the time, commented on the launch. The architecture was released alongside broader AI Suite updates covering assistant use-case depth and data redaction.
